More Good News for Delaforce Wines. Scores of 90+ and a “Best Buy”!

Delaforce Touriga Nacional 2011 scored 93 points by Wine Spectator (WS) and the 2007 scored 90 points by Wine Enthusiast (WE). Kim Marcus of WS states the 2011 is, “Effusively fruity, showing good cut to the lively raspberry, dark cherry and blackberry flavors, lush and pure. Offers caressing tannins, with vanilla and strawberry cream notes that linger on the finish. Drink now through 2022.” Of the Tourgia 2007, in December 2012 Roger Voss reported, “Two naturally tannic grapes have produced a wine of surprising richness and softness. It has qualities of blackberry and herb; its tannins are now well-integrated after 18 months in the wood and three years in bottle. It’s big, ripe, spicy and ready to drink.”

Delaforce has received several other accolades including a Best Buy by Wine Enthusiast for the Colheita 2012 which scored 88 points, “This is the best vintage of Delaforce table wine so far…”. At less than $15 per bottle, a Best Buy it is indeed!
